Built From the Ground Up
Webir was founded in 1986 by Dave Webb and Glen Birth — two tradesmen who had spent over a decade working together and shared a simple but uncommon vision: build a company on honesty, fair pricing, and quality workmanship.
The name Webir was born by combining their last names — Webb and Birth.
Dave ran the office and estimating side while Glen led field operations, a balance that defined the company from day one. Within their first two years they brought on their first employee and began growing steadily, building a reputation across controls, heating, and air conditioning throughout British Columbia.
By 2010, Webir had grown to a team of around 10 people. That same year, the company was purchased by Ross Richmond and Riley Birth — both trained under Dave and Glen from the ground up. Riley brought expertise in HVAC; Ross in controls. Together they carried forward the same leadership model the company was built on.
Today, Webir employs over 40 people and continues to operate on the values it was founded on: integrity, quality workmanship, and fair value for every client.
