We are based in Coquitlam, BC (Unit 107 – 1750 Hartley Avenue) and serve clients across the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, and throughout British Columbia. We regularly travel for commercial and institutional projects province-wide.
How long has Webir been in business? +
Webir was founded in 1986 and has been operating for nearly 40 years. We are a company with deep roots in the BC commercial mechanical industry, now led by Riley Birth and Ross Richmond.
Is Webir accredited? +
Yes. Webir is a Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer and a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business. We hold multiple regional MVP and Entrepreneur of the Year awards from Reliable Controls Western Canada.

What residential HVAC services does Webir offer? +
We install and service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and in-floor radiant heating. We also handle smart thermostat installation.
Are you a gas-certified contractor? +
Yes. Our technicians hold valid BC gas fitting certifications. All gas appliance installations and service work is done to code with proper permits where required.
Do you install heat pumps? +
Yes. We install energy-efficient heat pump systems for year-round residential heating and cooling. Contact us to discuss what system is right for your home.

Does Webir work with strata councils directly? +
Yes. We work directly with strata councils and property management companies. We understand strata procurement, budget cycles, and the need for minimal disruption to residents.
What strata mechanical services do you provide? +
We handle common area HVAC, central boiler plant service and replacement, in-suite fan coil service, parkade ventilation, Bacnet integration for common systems, and quarterly maintenance agreements.
Can you respond to strata emergencies? +

What controls platform does Webir specialize in? +
We are a Reliable Controls Authorized Dealer and specialize in Bacnet building control systems. We work with open-protocol Bacnet infrastructure and can integrate with existing building systems.
Can Webir program and commission Bacnet systems? +
Yes. Our controls team handles full Bacnet system programming, point-to-point verification, commissioning, and owner training. We also provide ongoing remote hosting, monitoring, and support.
Do you offer remote monitoring for building systems? +
Yes. We set up and support web-based remote hosting and monitoring for building mechanical systems. This gives facilities managers real-time visibility, alarm notifications, and the ability to make setpoint adjustments remotely.
