About installation, pricing, and what to expect.

Yes. CA$1,680 for a 40 gallon electric and CA$2,180 for a 40 gallon gas are all-in prices — tank, labour, new supply lines, pressure relief valve, and haul-away of your old unit. No surprise charges on invoice day. Tankless pricing varies by unit size and venting requirements, so we provide that after a quick assessment.

Most replacements take 2–4 hours from arrival to hot water running. We arrive with everything needed, remove and haul away your old tank, install and test the new one, and leave everything code-compliant. Tankless installs may take longer depending on venting.

If your home already has a gas line, a gas tank typically heats water faster and has lower operating costs. Electric tanks have a lower install price and no gas line requirement. If you're replacing a gas tank, stay with gas — if replacing electric, electric is usually the easier swap. We're happy to advise over the phone if you're unsure.
